Satyananda Yoga Teachers in Dublin and Wicklow
All the teachers listed here are trained to a very high standard (having completed a minimum of two years teacher training) and continually upgrade their yogic knowledge by doing at least 2 full days of in-service training per year. They are fully insured and hold up to date First Aid Certificates. Additionally, the Satyananda teachers on this site are accredited to The Bihar School of Yoga, The British Wheel of Yoga and/or The Yoga Federation of Ireland.
Grainne McLaughlin (Vedanta)
Grainne McLaughlin was introduced to yoga over 18 years ago and qualified as a Satyananda yoga instructor in 2004. She trained at the Galway Yoga and Meditation Centre which is accredited to the Bihar School of Satyananda Yoga and British Wheel of Yoga practitioners. Grainne discovered the benefits of pre-natal yoga during her own pregnancy and furthered her studies with Uma Dinsmor-Tuli qualifying in pre-natal yoga in 2006. Grainne is also a qualified massage therapist and works with people in hospice care.

Angelika Renger
Angelika was introduced to yoga over 20 years ago and has been teaching Satyananda Yoga for 6 years. She trained in at The Galway Yoga and Meditation Centre from 2005-2007. Angelika also went to India to stay in Swami Satyananda’s Ashram and goes regularly to the Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales to deepen her own practice. Her love for Satyananda Yoga derives from its integrated system of all yogic practices, recognising the different needs and personalities of people. Students like her practical and clearly structured classes and her desire to bring yoga from the class into every day life. Apart from teaching her regular classes she has experience of teaching disadvantaged communities, prisons and older people.
