I have a Yoga Teacher Training Diploma from the Mandala Yoga Ashram in Wales and am accredited to the The British Wheel of Yoga. I also have a Certificate in Yogic Studies from The Bihar School of Yoga in India and I am a qualified pregnancy yoga teacher, having completed post-graduate training with Yoga Therapy Ireland.
My classes incorporate postures, breathing exercises, yoga nidra (relaxation) and/or meditation. And depending on the level of the class I also incorporate chanting and some aspects of yoga philosophy. The emphasis in each class is on awareness and being present.
You don’t have to be fit or flexible to do yoga – the only requirements are that you can breathe and have an interest in learning more about yourself.
